Artist Statement
Stephanie Estall-Knight is a contemporary mixed media artist who combines fabric, paper and stitch with drawing and painting. Natural fabrics are manipulated and painted with natural dyes to form layers, whilst accents of hand stitch and found objects are often included.
Sources of inspiration include industrial architecture, edge lands and found items. She often finds inspiration on her travels and records her observations in sketchbooks.
